Following Sacrifice by Poison Rouge, it was announced Torment, a new chapter of the Italian extreme trilogy that will still be produced by Domiziano Cristopharo. This is what was leaked on social channels and on IMDb by the Roman director. Also revealed the name of the screenwriter (Likov Mitoloskih) and those of two actors: Matteo De Liberato (the Clown) and Rikky Fiore (escort).
Meanwhile, the teaser poster for the film has been released, the shooting of which will begin in December.
There is not much info on this project whose story, however, may chronologically follow the events of Sacrifice. To suggest a connection between Torment and Poison Rouge movie is also the title style that seems to recall that of Sacrifice.
In Torment, the tagline "the graveyard of a gay killer clown," and the four letters highlighted in white (and forming the name Gacy), hint that the film's story may be inspired by the events of John Wayne Gacy, the notorious U.S. serial killer nicknamed "Killer Clown."
Recall that Gacy was sentenced to death in 1994 because he was responsible for torturing, sodomizing, and killing more than 30 victims, including teenagers and male adults. The psychopath buried some of the bodies under his home while others heaped them in the basement.
