The gates of horror open in Turin where, starting tonight and running through Saturday, Nov. 16, the thirteenth edition of TOHorror Film Fest will be held, the festival dedicated to horror films that stands as one of the most important festivals on the genre in Italy.

This edition features a rich roundup of films that will compete for a number of awards namely:
Feature Film Competition Award
Short Film Competition Award
Screenplay Contest Award
Experimental & Mutations Award: aimed at cutting-edge features
Antonio Margheriti Award: dedicated to inventive craftsmanship
Anna Mondelli Award: best debut or best budding talent
The 2013 TOHorror Film Fest will be held at three distinct locations, located in the Piedmontese capital: Blah Blah Cine Club at 21 Via Po, Sala Cinema Film Commission at 42 Via Cagliari and Libreria La Fenice at 2 Via Porta Palatina.
Today Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 8:30 p.m., the opening event will be held followed from 9 p.m. by a series of screenings of the competing films, namely:
- 9 p.m. - For the feature film competition: Butterfly Room by Jonathan Zarantonello (ticket price is €5)
- 10:30 p.m. - In competition for the short film competition: Anger of the dead by Francesco Picone (ITA 2013 - duration 15′), L'attesa by Adriano Cerroni (ITA 2013 - duration 7′), La Ballata di X e Y by Carlo Battelli (ITA 2013 - duration 22′), La cassa by Filippo Fraternali Vitaletti (ITA 2012 - duration 15′).
- 11:15 p.m. - Out of competition for the Web Series category: The Clothes of Evil (episodes 1 and 2) by Andrea Sgaravatti, Guido Geminiani and Mattia Lunardi.
- 11:30 p.m. - For the feature film competition: Rewind This by Josh Johnson (ticket price is €5)
