tlmea3Austrian director Kevin Kopacka (Hades) is grappling with a new short film. It is about. TLMEA, prequel to Hades, which is envisioned as a hallucinatory journey to Hell. The film is currently being edited but should be completed by June. The screenplay by TLMEA is edited by H.K DeWitt and the director himself, who is also the producer of the film.

The title TLMEA refers to Ptolomea ("Ptolomea"), the third zone of the 9th circle of Dante's Inferno in which the betrayers of guests or diners reside. The punishment for these damned consists in being stuck in the frozen lake of Cocito with their heads down, so that the tears, freezing, seal their eyes.

The synopsis is in some ways reminiscent of the Turkish film Baskin by Can Evrenol: Schweitzer and Nordmann are two plainclothes policemen who find themselves trapped in a nightmare. During a drug raid the two colleagues will end up in the ninth circle of Hell.

The cast of the film includes the actors from Hades who reprise their roles: Anna Heidegger (M.), Cris Kotzen (Schweitzer) and Iman Rezai(Charon). They are also joined by rapper Ufo361 and artist Jonas Hofrichter. Special effects are by Tim Scheidig while the soundtrack is by Aiko Aiko.
