On the occasion of the release, IFC Midnight has released a new clip from The Wretched (USA - 2019), the horror film about witchcraft written and directed by the duo consisting of brothers Brett and Drew T. Pierce, the directors of the zombie movie Deadheads. The film will be available on VOD platforms on May 1, 2020.
Rich in special effects, The Wretched was presented as a groundbreaking horror film belonging to the witchcraft film strand.
The story's protagonist is a rebellious teenager who anxiously experiences his parents' impending divorce. Soon, however, the boy realizes that he is living next door to a timeless horror that threatens to destroy everything he holds dear: a thousand-year-old witch, unfortunately his neighbor.
