BUILDING OUTSIDE.Aurora and Rino are rescued from some attackers by a strange gentleman who lives in a forest on the outskirts of Rome. At first he is kind and hospitable, then he will show his true face. Above all, it is the house where he lives that has a secret....

Good attempt to re-emphasize Italian horror, particularly splatter horror, at a time when genre productions are few and far between and very difficult to distribute.
Produced by the Manetti Brothers and directed by Albanesi, the author of interesting shorts, this is a film that undoubtedly takes its cues from Non apriite quella porta and pays homage to several Italian classics, such as Phenomena, Profondo Rosso, and Suspiria.
However, it is not without some major flaws.
The first part of the film is very static, uninspiring, and not supported by good acting: many characters seem rather cold and unconvincing.
The final half-hour, however, is decidedly more lively, splattering and distressing.
Stivaletti's special effects are excellent, not inferior to several American products, and make the film quite violent and splattering.
There is no shortage of minor twists and turns.
The three township Romans, as obnoxious as they are, are the most convincing characters in the entire film.
Taking into account the obvious budget limitations, it is a decent effort, recommended for lovers of gore, blood by the gallon and freak movies.
Good sales success of the dvd in Japan.
