XLrator Media has acquired North American rights to distribute (in October) the The Windmill Massacre, il thriller-horror olandese sul diabolico mugnaio assassino e che segna l'esordio alla regia di Nick Jongerius, che ne ha curato anche lo script. Della produzione si è occupato invece Daniel Koefoed che, insieme a Jongerius, sono noti per essere stati i produttori di Frankenstein's Army.
Abstract: A terrible legend tells of an evil miller, a 
Devil worshipper who, instead of sowing grain in his soil, buries the bones of the inhabitants he has killed. A group of curious tourists, camped near his mill and interested in his story, will understand to their cost that legends always have a kernel of truth. In fact, the miller, annoyed by their presence, will return from the realm of the dead to water his land with blood again.
The screenplay is by Chris W. Mitchell and Suzy Quid. The cast includes Noah Taylor, Charlotte Beaumont, Patrick Baladi, Fiona Hampton, Ben Batt, Adam Thomas Wright, Tanroh Ishida and Bart Kleve.
