The Wind: Nico Mastorakis' octogenarian slasher on Blu-ray with Goredrome

This month, in addition to the extreme film Trypophobic Posession, in the catalog Goredrome Pictures is also present The wind (aka The Wind), a horror slasher directed in 1986 by Greek director Nico Mastorakis (Destination - The subtle rustle of madness).
In Italy, the film was released only on VHS, also passing through TV a few decades ago, and thanks to Goredrome Pictures, it arrives on home video for the first time on Blu-ray from a new 2K restoration and with Italian audio.
The film is available in the Mediabook edition (Cover A and Cover B) with two Blu-ray discs. Slipcase and card are limited to pre-order only.

The label's official website also features 3 bundles that include the Mediabook, a rare VHS from the 1980s, and a magnet of the film.

The wind stars Meg Foster (They Live, Leviathan), here as Sian Anderson, a writer who sets out from Los Angeles for the Greek island of Monemvasia to write her new mystery novel. Due to the arrival of a storm, she stays at home and, while working, witnesses a murder that will mark her life forever.

In the cast of The wind, in addition to the aforementioned actress, are Wings Hauser (Day of the Chrysalis), David McCallum (Eyes in the Park), Robert Morley (Sherlock Holmes: Nights of Terror), Steve Railsback (Space Vampires), Mihalis Giannatos (Midnight Escape), Summer Thomas (Eagle Island), John Michaels, and Dina Giannakou.
