In addition to the Greek proto-slasher Destination - The subtle rustle of madness (aka Island of Death) of 1976, TetroVideo has acquired the rights to another Nico Mastorakis film. It is about The wind (aka The Wind), a horror slasher directed by the Greek director in 1986.
In Italy, the film was released only on VHS, also passing through TV a few decades ago, and, thanks to TetroVideo, will be released for the first time on Blu-ray from a new 2K restoration.

The wind stars Meg Foster (They Live, Leviathan), here as Sian Anderson, a writer who sets out from Los Angeles for the Greek island of Monemvasia to write her new mystery novel. Due to the arrival of a storm, she stays at home and, while working, witnesses a murder that will mark her life forever.

In addition to Meg Foster, the cast also includes Wings Hauser (Day of the Chrysalis), David McCallum (The Eyes in the Park), Robert Morley (Sherlock Holmes: Nights of Terror), Steve Railsback (Space Vampires), Mihalis Giannatos (Midnight Escape), Summer Thomas (Eagle Island), John Michaels, and Dina Giannakou.
