The sixth season of The Walking Dead, the well-known U.S. television series, will return to screens on October 11 in the United States and the next day in Italy on Fox (Sky channel 112).
The story of the new season will pick up right where the previous one left off: the confrontation between an irate Rick and Morgan in Alexandria. Rick also has by now realized that in order to survive, he will have to put aside his goodness and respectability by letting the inherent badness take over.
The first episode of the season will be about 90 minutes long. The producers of the series have revealed that the new episodes of the first half season will be full of disturbing flashbacks and assure that there will be some very interesting and unexpected story developments. The cast is enlarged with the addition of a new actress, Merritt Wever (Signs) as Dr. Denise Cloyd.
In July, in addition to the trailer, the first two images were released of a pair of zombies that will be seen in the sixth season of The Walking Dead and which you can see below.
