Leone Film Group has released the official Italian trailer for. The Turning (2020), the ghost movie that will debut in Italian theaters on October 29, 2020 (distributed by o1 Distribution) under the title The Turning: House of Evil.
Directed by Floria Sigismondi (The Runaways), the film is the new film adaptation of "The crackdown" ("The Turn of the Screw"), the famous short novel in the horror-gothic genre written by Henry James and which also inspired other films such as Suspense (1961), Suddenly, a man in the night (1972) e The Others (2001).
The story takes place in the 1990s and features a young governess who is hired by a wealthy businessman to care for the orphans Flora and Miles, his grandchildren. The girl, however, is convinced that the country house where they live is haunted and that the two young boys are privy to terrible secrets.
The Turning: House of Evil stars Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things), Brooklynn Prince and Mackenzie Davis (Blade Runner 2049). Also in the cast are Mark Huberman, Barbara Marten, Niall Greig Fulton, Kim Adis, Denna Thomsen, and Karen Egan.
The script is by Carey W. Hayes and Chad Hayes, the screenwriters of the The Conjuring - The Conjuring and Crucifixion - Evil has been invoked.
