The Transparent Woman will be available on DVD starting July 10, 2017 with The Enchanted Architect. Meanwhile, the limited edition (only 100 numbered copies) intended for the Italian market is on pre-order starting today, May 29, on Thrauma's official website.
Directed by Domiziano Cristopharo in 2015, The Transparent Woman è un dramma con sfumature horror con protagonista la pluripremiata pornodiva italiana Roberta Gemma. L'attrice interpreta Anna, una donna cieca dotata di particolari sensibilità percettive e che vive in una vecchia casa fra le cui mura si cela un segreto.
The screenplay of The Transparent Woman is by Andrea Cavaletto (Beautiful People, Hyde's Secret Nightmare, Doll Syndrome) on a subject by Domiziano Cristopharo, Elio Mancuso (The Museum of Wonders) and Francesco Massaccesi.
In the cast: Roberta Gemma (House of Flesh Mannequins, Hyde's Secret Nightmare and Bloody Sin), Australian Arian Levanael (Bloody Sin, Bellerophon) and, in a cameo, Italian singer Giovanna Nocetti.
The rich extra section of the DVD includes: bloopers, trailers, interviews and also a small documentary on the soundtrack by Susan DiBona and Salvatore Sangiovanni (the film also features some songs by Giovanna Nocetti). Enclosed with the film there will also be a booklet i.e., a mini horror/erotic comic book, drawn by master Frank Verola (Kriminal, Satanik, Daniel) and in which the main character is Roberta Gemma.
