The Transparent Woman is the title of the new horror film directed by Domiziano Cristopharo for a screenplay by Andrea Cavaletto on a subject by Elio Mancuso (The Museum of Wonders) and Francesco Massaccesi.
The cast includes only two actors, award-winning Italian porn star Roberta Gemma, who has already starred in other genre films by Domiziano Cristopharo such as House of Flesh Mannequins, Hyde's Secret Nightmare and Bloody Sin. She is joined by Australian Arian Levanael, also previously seen in Bloody Sin and Bellerophon by Cristopharo. The actor also starred in "Never bet your head with the Devil" by Mirko Virgili, one of the episodes of the recent Poe 3: Pieces of Eldritch, the third chapter of the saga conceived by Domitian Christopharo himself.
In addition to the two actors, a cameo will also feature Giovanna Nocetti, a famous Italian singer whose career in music began back in 1969.
The protagonist of the story is Anna (Roberta Gemma), a blind woman who enjoys special perceptual sensitivities and lives inside an old house within whose walls a secret is hidden.
The Transparent Woman will be immersed in typically Italian atmospheres with a retro feel, enhanced by the music of Giovanna Nocetti and Salvatore Sangiovanni, as well as the unreleased song written by Paolo Limiti (sung by Giovanna Nocetti).
The film will be presented from February 2015 in the most important Italian and international festivals in collaboration with the French label "M international Films," the same production company of Phantasmagoria. The film's animated titles are by Paolo Gaudio, author of the stop motion in Phantasmagoria, director of "The Black Cat" in P.O.E.: Poetry of Eerie and Fantasies of a lonely walker. The latter title is the winner of the Festival La Samain du cinéma fantastique 2014 where he won the Grand Prix.
