The chilling horror found footage about diabolical possession The Taking of Deborah Logan (USA - 2014) will be available in Blu-ray format starting July 14 (U.S. market) thanks to MVD and Terror Films.
The Taking of Deborah Logan (review here) marks the directorial debut of actor Adam Robitel (2001 Maniacs, 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams), who later directed Insidious - The Last Key and Escape Room.
Protagonist of the story of The Taking of Deborah Logan is Mia Medina (Michelle Ang), a young woman preparing a thesis on Alzheimer's disease. To complete her study on the condition, the student joins Deborah Logan (Jill Larson), a woman diagnosed with this debilitating disease who lives with her daughter Sarah (Anne Ramsay). For several months, Mia will document with video recordings the daily life of the elderly woman who, as time passes, will begin to manifest new symptoms that are completely unrelated to Alzheimer's disease.
The cast of the film includes Jill Larson, Michelle Ang, Anne Ramsay, Anne Bedian, Ryan Cutrona, Jeremy DeCarlos, and Julianne Taylor.
The director himself co-wrote the screenplay with Gavin Heffernan.
