About two months later (link to news story), we come back to talk about The Suffering Bible (Italy - 2018) on the release of the official trailer. Conceived by Italian effects artist and director Davide Pesca (Tales From Deep Hell, "Feed me more" segment in Deep Web XXX, "Hemophobia" and "Peep Show" segments in Phobia), this project will probably be completed by the end of July 2018.
Conceived in experimental horror, The Suffering Bible is an extreme horror feature film that takes its cues from the Bible and then veers into blasphemy, infusing the religious context with strong themes such as sex, violence and death. All, exacerbated by abundant splatter and gore.
Davide Pesca reinterprets and revisits some verses of the sacred text, particularly the Ten Commandments, dwelling on five of them for now and planning an eventual sequel to focus on the remaining five later. The Suffering Bible is divided into 5 acts (dedicated, each, to a commandment). A sixth segment, on the other hand, will serve as an introduction and also as an epilogue.
A this link you can find the titles and plot of the acts and the relevant Commandments they are inspired by.
