We present a preview of the first stills of The Suffering Bible 2: Dead Butterfly (Italy - 2019), the sequel to The Suffering Bible (Italy - 2018), extreme horror that takes its cues from the Bible and then brings to the stage a blasphemous spectacle sweetened with a touch of eroticism.
Davide Pesca, the creator of the project as well as an effects artist, returns to direct, and with this second chapter he completes his personal analysis of the Ten Commandments, placing strong themes such as sex, violence, madness and death in the religious context. All, exacerbated by abundant splatter and gore for a searing journey between the sacred and the profane.
We remember you that The Suffering Bible (2018) is divided into 5 acts dedicated, each, to a commandment while a sixth segment serves as an introduction and also an epilogue. The Suffering Bible 2: Dead Butterfly addresses the remaining 5 commandments, and as in the first chapter, there will be a framed segment in this sequel.
Currently three out of five segments namely "The Secret," "Saint Friday" and "Heaven's Door" have been made. Filming of this extreme horror feature film will end in early summer.
Davide Pesca has behind him Tales From Deep Hell, the "Feed me more" segment in Deep Web XXX, and the episodes "Hemophobia" and "Peep Show" in Phobia.
