The strange vice of Mrs. Wardh is an interesting mix of genres (thriller, detective story and erotic) to which are added Argentinean references but also hints of sadism and sadomasochism. It is precisely the latter, the paraphilias precisely, that give depth to a film that is otherwise slow in the unfolding of the story and poor in suspense but that manages to surprise in several circumstances, especially in the development of some murders (such as the one in the park), the cinematography and the final twist.

Ne The strange vice of Mrs. Wardh, Edwige Fenech plays Julie Wardh, wife of Neil (Alberto de Mendoza), a diplomat who nevertheless neglects her. In reality, Julie hides a troubled past of which she still retains memories of a deviant and violent love. Her ex, Jean (Ivan Rassimov), has never accepted that he was abandoned and continues to pursue her. Meanwhile, she falls in love with George (George Hilton), a man she met at a party, incurring the wrath of her former lover. Meanwhile in the city, a maniac is staining himself with heinous crimes using a razor.
