The second season of The Strain, the American television series that revives the vampire myth, will premiere on July 12 in the US on FX and will consist of 13 episodes.
The TV series was created by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan, inspired by their novel “The Strain,” and is part of the Nocturna trilogy (The Strain Trilogy) along with “The Fall” and “The Night Eternal.”.
In the second season of The Strain, the survivors are fighting for control of the city, united against the spread of the contagion.
The cast includes David Bradley, Kevin Durand, Ruta Gedmintas, Mia Maestro, and Corey Stoll.
