Online the new poster and a clip from The Spore (USA - 2021), the sci-fi horror film about an infection caused by a mutant fungus and featuring D.M. Cunningham, here directing his first feature film.
Targeted by Lionsgate, the film is already available on Digital, on Demand and on DVD (US market).
Plot: A horrible plague is ravaging humanity. Meadow accepts a ride from a stranger but, after noticing that the man is infected, the woman flees only to find refuge in a seemingly abandoned cabin. The apocalypse began days earlier when a dangerous spore, long trapped in the ice, was unleashed by global warming.
Now, as ten outsiders try to escape the chaos, some succumb to the horrible mutant fungus and then treat the survivors as their prey.
The cast of The Spore consists of Jovonnah Nicholson, Zoe Cunningham, Justin Golinski, Peter Tell, Haley Heslip (Camp Love), Brian Hillard (Kottentail), Jackson Ezinga (13 Demons) and Jeannie Jefferies (Zombies - 1978).
The screenplay is by D.M. Cunningham himself.
