We present a preview of the teaser poster of The Slaying of Robert Beckowitz, the first film TetroManiac, the brutal extreme series about serial killers conceived by the label TetroVideo.
The Slaying of Robert Beckowitz traces one of the most horrific and heinous cases in crime news namely that of Robert Beckowitz who was murdered in July 1982 by his ex (Jeannine "Charlie" Clark) and her new partner (James Glover), who then disposed of his body and documented his abuse, mutilation and acts of necrophilia with photos.
Currently in pre-production, the film produced by TetroVideo and Coulson Rutter will be directed by BAD TRIP Bros, an Albanian-Italian factory consisting of director Domiziano Cristopharo (House of Flesh Mannequins, Red Krokodil) and effects artists Jacopo Tomassini and Iva Cakalli. The soundtrack, on the other hand, will be by Antony Coia (Virus: Extreme Contamination, House of Flesh Mannequins).
BAD TRIP Bros has already dealt with a crime case in The Obsessed (here is our review), a film inspired by the story of Ricardo Lopez (1975-1996), the stalker of the famous Icelandic singer Bjork.
The story of The Slaying of Robert Beckowitz takes its cue from the tragic end of Robert Beckowitz and, more importantly, from the heinous manner in which the two murderers inflicted their ravages on his corpse.
Robert Beckowitz was shot in the head by James, the new partner of his ex (Jannine) with a .45-caliber pistol. His body was then stabbed a hundred times but this was not enough to appease the insane sadistic instincts of his tormentors who, under the influence of drugs, continued to perform all kinds of desecrating acts on his corpse even in the three days following the murder.
Mutilation, abuse and acts of necrophilia were documented by the sleazy couple with a camera. The photos depict the two murderers naked next to Robert's mutilated body.
After the man's death, his head, feet, and penis were cut off, and his anatomical parts were used as macabre compositions. After the 3 days had passed, it was Jeannine herself who called the police and reported the incident, claiming that it was James' idea and that he was the one who had forced her to perform those acts. The photos, however, proved that the woman had lied.
James was sentenced to 50 years in prison for the murder while Jeannine was sentenced to 10 years for mutilation of a corpse.
