Fox Searchlight Pictures has released the red band trailer and a new poster for The Shape of Water (USA - 2017), the new supernatural film mixing romance and horror from Guillermo del Toro (Crimson Peak, The faun's labyrinth). The Shape of Water ha recentemente vinto il "Leone d'oro al Miglior film" alla 74ª Mostra internazionale d'arte cinematografica di Venezia. Il film debutterà nelle sale statunitensi l’8 dicembre 2017.
La storia si concentra sull’americana Elisa (Sally Hawkins), una donna sordomuta che lavora come impiegata in un laboratorio governativo di massima sicurezza a Baltimora. La sua vita cambierà drasticamente quando, all'interno della struttura, scoprirà la presenza di una creatura anfibia (Doug Jones) e di cui la donna si innamora perdutamente. L'essere è in realtà un esperimento segreto del Dr. Giles (Richard Jenkins).
