Dopo i vari Sharknado, Ghost Shark, Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus, 2-Headed Shark Attack, 3-Headed Shark Attack e i recenti Shark Exorcist e House Shark, arriva The Shallows, anche questo un film sullo squalo ma con una storia sobria, lineare e che rimanda ai celebri film del passato incentrati su questo magnifico predatore.

Blake Lively (Simon Says) plays Nancy, a surfer who reaches an isolated beach to surf. The girl will be attacked by a white shark whose menacing presence will make it impossible for her to reach the shore.
The Shallows sarà distribuito nei cinema americani a partire dal prossimo 24 giugno mentre da noi arriverà sei giorni dopo ovvero il 30 giugno 2016.
