Thanks to Adler Entertainment and to CG Entertainment, the supernatural horror thriller Muse (Spain – 2017) is available on DVD, Blu-ray, and digital download starting December 6. Directed by Spanish filmmaker Jaume Balaguerò (Darkness, Bed Time, Rec, [REC] 4: Apocalipsis), Muse is the film adaptation of the novel "Checkers number 13" by Jose Carlos Somoza.
This cinematic reimagining blends intrigue, mystery, and crime, offering an elegant take on the horror genre in which the concepts of beauty, love, and art are transformed into something dangerous and terrifying.
Plot: Literature teacher Samuel Salomon (Elliot Cowan) is a man scarred by the death of his girlfriend, a tragedy that led him to abandon teaching. Since that tragic day, the professor has been tormented by a recurring nightmare in which a stranger is murdered during a ritual. When the same woman from his dream is found dead in the real world, Samuel goes to the crime scene to search for answers to his questions.
Here he meets Rachel, a girl who, like him, claims to be haunted by the same nightmare. Together, the two try to discover the identity of the mysterious lady, but their search leads them into a world ruled by figures who have inspired artists throughout the centuries: the Muses.

Muse was released in Italian theaters on August 22 thanks to Adler Entertainment.
