The Rezort: the film about the resort with zombies to shoot down

rezortOnline the trailer for The Rezort (aka Generation Z), the zombie movie described as a "Jurassic Park with living dead." Directing it is Steve Barker, known for directing Outpost in 2008 and Outpost: Black Sun In 2012, two films about Nazi zombies. The story of The Rezort takes place after a zombie apocalypse in which humanity has prevailed over the dead.
The film is currently featured at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.

The-Rezort-PosterPlot: Humans have won the battle against the living dead but many of them are still scarred by the shocking and gruesome epidemic. Among the deeply traumatized people is Melanie who, in an attempt to overcome the shock, decides to go on the "zombie safari" with her friends. The Rezort, that's the name of the place, is a monitored place that contains within it hundreds of putrescent bodies that are kept constantly under control and are meant to be shot down by visitors with various weapons provided by the facility itself. Unfortunately, however, the Rezort's security system suffers a malfunction, leaving all the living dead free.

The screenplay of The Rezort (a co-production between Britain, Spain and Belgium) is by Paul Gerstenberger (Bad Meat). Production, on the other hand, was handled by Matador Pictures.
The cast includes Dougray Scott, Jessica De Gouw, Martin McCann, Elen Rhys, Claire Goose, Richard Laing, Bentley Kalu, Sean Power, Jamie Ward, and Jassa Ahluwalia.
