After directing the horror shorts Echos in the Ice (2017) and After the Rain (2018), BJ Verot tries his hand for the first time at a feature film entitled. The Return (Canada - 2019). Trattasi di un horror fantascientifico su un'infanzia tormentata e di cui è già disponibile un primo trailer.
Instead, the film is scheduled for release in 2019.
Protagonista della storia è Rodger Emmerlich (Richard Harmon), uno studente universitario che, una volta tornato a casa, scoprirà che il tempo non guarisce tutte le ferite. Gli orrori dell'infanzia che ha cercato di dimenticare si ripresenteranno nella sua vita per torturarlo ancora. Insieme alla fidanzata Beth (Sara Thompson), Rodger cercherà di venirne a capo prima che sia troppo tardi.
Fanno parte del cast: Richard Harmon (Puppet Killer, Sei ancora qui - I still see you), Marina Stephenson Kerr, Adam Brooks, Sara Thompson, Erik Athavale, Callie Lane, Echo Porisky, Zoe Fish e Jan Skene.
