Black Mandala has shared the first trailer for The Red Book Ritual (New Zealand, Argentina - 2021), an episodic horror film inspired by the "Red Book Ritual," a Mexican paranormal game, similar to the ouija board, that would allow players to communicate with spirits.
Two posters are also online.
Plot: Three friends decide to play "Red Book" but little do they know that, in the house where they find themselves, evil has been waiting to be released for a long time. The book will reveal the answers to all your questions they ask but, at the same time, it will put them in contact with the vengeful spirit of a witch, who died many years before during a satanic ritual itself...
Several international directors are involved in the project including Dean Puckett, Chris Beyrooty, Dean Law, Daniel J. Phillips, Jiwon Moon, and Ariel Luque. The latter also handled the script for all the episodes.
The cast includes Bruno Giacobbe, AgustÃn Olcese, Marlene Pedersen Chauviere and Valeria San MartÃn.
Instead, MartÃn Gerding and Michael Kraetzer appear in the production of the film.
The release of The Red Book Ritual Is expected in 2022.
