Dopo l'arrivo sulle piattaforme streaming, l'horror in costume The Reckoning (2021) will be available on DVD and Blu-ray (US market) starting April 6, 2021 with RLJE Films. There is currently no word on a possible Italian release of the film.
Directed by Neil Marshall (Dog Soldiers, The Descent, Hellboy), The Reckoning is a horror film about witchcraft whose story takes place during the great plague of the 17th century in England....
Plot: Following her husband's suicide, beautiful young Grace Haverstock (Charlotte Kirk) is falsely accused of witchcraft by jealous homeowner Squire Pendleton (Steven Waddington) after continuous refusals to his insistent advances. Pursued by Judge Moorcroft (Sean Pertwee), England's most ruthless witch hunter, Grace will also have to face her inner demons as the Devil tries to insinuate himself into her fragile mind.
Of the cast of The Reckoning include Charlotte Kirk, Joe Anderson, Sean Pertwee, Steven Waddington, Mark Ryan, Ian Whyte, and Emma Holzer.
The screenplay is by Neil Marshall himself in collaboration with Edward Evers-Swindell and Charlotte Kirk.
