crowAs already mentioned by Corin Hardy in his interview with him for theInternet horror movie database (iHORRORdb) and translated into our language for DarkVeins (Interview with Corin Hardy, the director of The Hallow), the remake project of The Raven is still standing, contrary to what was said last August.
In fact, for some time there has been nothing but talk about the remaking of The Crow and, after more than three years of stalling, searching for a director and lead actor, production of the film had been suspended due to various problems.

Recall that several directors were announced and then backed out. These include Stephen Norrington, Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, and F. Javier Gutiérrez. Corin Hardy, on the other hand, is intent on not giving up and pursuing this project although, as of today, the lead actor is still missing. In fact, actors such as Mark Wahlberg, Bradley Cooper, Luke Evans and Jack Huston have given up the role of Eric Draven.

While waiting to find the perfect actor to play Eric Draven, filming of the remake is scheduled to begin in the first half of 2016.
