The Purgation (USA - 2015), the supernatural horror film written and directed by newcomer Elaine Chu, enjoys a new trailer. The film won Best Feature at the 2015 LA Independent Artist Festival and will be available for video on demand starting August 16 through Osiris Entertainment.
Plot: Iris (Tiffany Kieu) has always dreamed of becoming a good director since she was a child. In recent years she has worked for television, directing a few episodes for an investigative series. One day she is introduced to 
an opportunity that could allow her to make a breakthrough and finally devote herself to filmmaking. In fact, her boss sends her to Black Falls, her hometown, to make a documentary about an abandoned asylum in which highly invasive therapies were practiced. While filming inside the facility, the young woman's childhood memories begin to resurface bringing terror to light.
