Eagle Pictures has revealed the official Italian trailer for The Prodigy - The Son of Evil (aka Descendant), the horror film that will debut in Italian theaters next March 21.
Produced by Tara Farney and Tripp Vinson (the producers of The Exorcism of Emily Rose and The Rite), The Prodigy - The Son of Evil is directed by Nicholas McCarthy, the director of The Pact, Beyond evil and Holidays.
Jackson Robert Scott (the young actor who played Georgie in It) plays the main character Miles, an eight-year-old boy who suddenly begins to manifest terrifying abilities. Concerned about her son's strange behavior, his mother (Taylor Schilling) fears that Miles is being dominated by a supernatural entity and decides to have him hypnotized.
In the cast: Jackson Robert Scott (IT - 2017, Fear The Walking Dead), Taylor Schilling, Peter Mooney, Colm Feore, Brittany Allen, Olunike Adeliyi, David Kohlsmith, Ashley Black, Martha Girvin, and Michael Dyson.
The screenplay for the film is by Jeff Buhler (Insanitarium, Next Stop: Hell, Pet Sematary - 2019).
