Orion Pictures has shared a clip from The Prodigy - The Son of Evil (aka Descendant), the horror film that will arrive in Italian theaters next March 21 with Eagle Pictures.
Produced by Tara Farney and Tripp Vinson (the producers of The Exorcism of Emily Rose and The Rite), The Prodigy - The Son of Evil features Nicholas McCarthy, the director of The Pact, Beyond evil and Holidays. The screenplay for the film, on the other hand, is by Jeff Buhler (Insanitarium, Next Stop: Hell, Pet Sematary - 2019).
The protagonist of the story is Miles (Jackson Robert Scott), an eight-year-old boy who suddenly begins to manifest terrifying abilities. Concerned about her son's strange behavior, his mother (Taylor Schilling) decides to have him hypnotized because she fears Miles is being dominated by a supernatural force.
