Published on Empire two photos of The Predator, the action-packed sci-fi horror film written and directed by Shane Black. Presented as a sort of reboot/sequel, this fourth installment of the famous fantasy-horror saga that began in 1987 is populated by giant genetically modified alien hunters.
The Predator will be released in Italian cinemas on September 27, 2018, distributed by 20th Century Fox (Here is the link to the Italian trailer.) while the US release is set for September 14.
After genetically improving themselves by combining DNA from different species, the deadliest hunters in the universe return to Earth even smarter and more ferocious. Unwittingly calling them back is a young boy, and to prevent the end of the human race, a group of ex-soldiers and a science teacher will be forced to intervene.
In the cast of The Predator The cast includes Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse), Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Alfie Allen, Thomas Jane, Yvonne Strahovski, Sterling K. Brown, and Edward James Olmos (Blade Runner).
The screenplay of The Predator was written by Fred Dekker (Monster School, Dimension of Terror, Who's Buried in That House?, Helen's House) in collaboration with Shane Black.
