At San Diego Comic-Con, the new trailers and posters for the The Predator (USA - 2018), surely one of the most anticipated films among those shown during the well-known annual convention that began last July 19 and will end on the 23rd of the same month. The Predator will arrive in U.S. theaters on Sept. 14 while it will debut in Italian theaters on the 27th of the same month.
In The Predator l'alieno si è evoluto fisicamente diventando più grande ma ha comunque conservato l'aspetto fisico dell'iconica creatura. Al panel, è stato proprio Shane Black (presente tra l'altro nel cast di Predator del 1987), sceneggiatore e regista del film, a descriverli come cacciatori più forti, grandi e violenti, essendo degli ibridi modificati geneticamente e protetti ulteriormente da un'armatura tecnologicamente avanzata.
The director also explained that these beings plan to take revenge on the human race after their species was defeated in the previous chapters. Finally, Shane Black described The Predator As an extremely violent film.
In a recent interview with Variety in addition, the director also clarified that the new film is not a remake or even a reboot. It is a new story that is part of the saga but continues 30 years after the events covered by the previous chapters.
