In theaters from Dec. 4, the thriller-horror The Perfect Husband directed by Lucas Pavetto. Script and screenplay are by the director himself in collaboration with Massimo Vavassori, while Explorer Entertainment handled the production of the film.
The story focuses on Viola and Nicola, two young married couples whose relationship has been thrown into crisis by the termination of their pregnancy. To overcome the couple's crisis, they decide to spend a quiet weekend together away from the chaotic city. So the two reach an isolated chalet in the woods where, however, their already declining relationship finally falls apart. A simple suspicion creeping into the thoughts of one of the couple will turn the short vacation into a nightmare.
The Perfect Husband is the winner of the “Mario Bava” award for Best First Feature at the 2014 Fantafestival and is the cinematic extension of the The perfect husband, a short film directed in 2011 by Lucas Pavetto himself.
The cast includes Bret Roberts, Gabriella Wright, Tania Bambaci, Carl Wharton, Daniel Vivian and Philippe Reinhardt. Music is by Giuseppe Capozzolo, while special effects are by Giuseppe Cordivani.
The director is currently engaged in post-production of The Alcoholist, a thriller genre film shot in the USA. The cast includes Bret Roberts and Gabriella Wright, the stars of The Perfect Husband.
