Sarah Wayne Callies, l'attrice che ha interpretato Lori Grimes nella serie TV The Walking Dead, is the protagonist of The Other Side of the Door, un film di genere horror nella cui storia il vudù ha un ruolo di primo piano. La Callies interpreta infatti una madre distrutta dal dolore per la perdita del figlio. L'amore della figlia e del marito non è sufficiente a farle superare il gravoso lutto e infatti è decisa a mettersi in contatto con il bambino morto tramite un rito vudù. Il rituale esoterico però aprirà un varco tra il mondo dei vivi e quello dei morti mettendo in pericolo la vita della donna e quella della sua famiglia.
The film, which will be released through Twentieth Century Fox on March 11, 2016, is directed by Johannes Roberts, a British director and screenwriter who has previously directed several horror films including Sanitarium, Hellbreeder, Darkhunters, Forest of the Damned, F, Roadkill and Storage 24.
