The official website of the The Optical Theatre Horror Film Festival, prestigioso festival internazionale al quale è già possibile iscrivere i propri film (anche tramite FilmFreeway). L'evento, giunto alla sua seconda edizione, è stato annunciato in questi giorni dall'Associazione Culturale Dark Circle and is open to Feature Films, Short Films, Trailers, Trash Features and Trash Shorts.
La rassegna cinematografica internazionale che abbraccia l'horror ma anche il fantasy, il bizzarro e il grottesco, è organizzata da Domiziano Cristopharo (Fondatore, Direttore Artistico) e da Antony Coia (CEO, Presidente Dark Circle) e si terrà presso il cinema Detour in Rome in November.

I migliori film dell'edizione 2016, tra l'altro, saranno attenzionati dai siti parner con news, interviste alla crew e recensioni e dalla label One Seven Movies per un'eventuale distribuzione internazionale.

- Adam Gierasch, attore e regista americano che ha diretto "Autopsy", il remake "Night of the Demons", "Fertile Ground" e il segmento "Trick" della recente antologia horror "Tales of Halloween";
- Stephen Biro, founder of the Unearthed Films, casa di produzione che si occupa della distribuzione di film estremi. Biro ha scritto e diretto "American Guinea Pig: Bouquet of Guts and Gore", il primo capitolo della serie americana ispirata alla saga orientale gore "Guinea Pig". È altresì lo sceneggiatore del secondo capitolo, "American Guinea Pig: Bloodshock", diretto da Marcus Koch;
- Daniel De La Vega, regista argentino noto per "Jennifer's Shadow", "Death Knows Your Name" e per il claustrofobico "Necrofobia";
- Antonio Tentori, scrittore e sceneggiatore italiano, noto per aver scritto le sceneggiature di diversi film di Lucio Fulci ("Demonia", "Un Gatto nel cervello"), Dario Argento ("Dracula 3D"), Bruno Mattei ("L'isola dei morti viventi", "Zombi: La creazione"), Sergio Stivaletti ("I tre volti del terrore"), Aristide Massaccesi ("Ritorno dalla morte - Frankenstein 2000");
- Marco Werba, pluripremiato compositore italiano che ha realizzato le colonne sonore di film come "Giallo" di Dario Argento e "Colour from the Dark" di Ivan Zuccon;
- Jonathan Barkan, editor-in-chief of BloodyDisgusting;
- Ivan Zuccon, regista italiano che nella sua filmografia vanta titoli come “La Casa sfuggita”, “Nympha", "Colour from the Dark" e “Wrath of the Crows";
- Leonardo Cruciano, respected Italian effects artist, Creatures Creator and Special Make-up Artist.
- Federico Frusciante, owner of the Videodrome video library in Livorno, founder of the production company Videodrome Industries and film critic;
