The Optical Theatre Film Festival, the international film festival that embraces horror, bizarre, fantasy and grotesque genres, enjoys a new special guest. Godmother of the event will in fact be the award-winning Italian porn star Roberta Gemma, who has also been active in horror cinema for several years. See her interpretations in several films by Domiziano Cristopharo, among which stand out House of Flesh Mannequins, Hyde's Secret Nightmare, Bloody Sin and The Transparent Woman.
Organized by theDark Circle Association, by founder/artistic director Domiziano Cristopharo, Antony Coia (President) and Barbara Torretti of DarkVeins/iHORRORdb, The Optical Theatre Film Festival will see its awards night on November 25, 2016 at Room 5 of the multiplex cinema located within the Fornaci Cinema Village that is, a commercial facility devoted to art and entertainment (for more info we leave the link to previous article).
Among the currently confirmed guests will be, in addition to Roberta Gemma, several jurors namely screenwriter Antonio Tentori and musician Marco Werba. As a reminder, the prestigious international jury of The Optical Theatre Film Festival is currently engaged in evaluating the selected works (here all nominations).
Among the jurors for this second edition of the event, in addition to Tentori and Werba, are other important names such as those of Stephen Biro (Unearthed Films), Federico Frusciante (owner of Livorno video store Videodrome and beloved Youtuber), and filmmakers Adam Gierasch and Frank Laloggia.
Official partners of the event are The Internet Horror Movie Database (iHORRORdb), BloodyDisgusting, DarkVeins and ScaredToWatch while Luca Mattana is the artist and maker of the prestigious awards.
