The category "BEST TRAILER" opens the official selections of the The Optical Theatre Festival 2017, the international film festival dedicated to horror, fantasy, bizarre and grotesque, which is now in its third year.
Finalists in the category "Best Trailer" are:
Svart Records: Vinyl for Pleasure (2017) by the very young Artturi Rostén, the director of The Defiler (2016).
Rostén also handled the screenplay while Tomi Pulkki and Jarkko Pietarinen handled the production of this Finnish trailer that seems to pay homage to the Italian giallo.
In the cast Kauko Röyhkä.
Swamp Killer - A Grindhouse Trailer (USA - 2017). Produced, written and directed by Ramiro Hernandez, this is the second and final trailer finalist.
The cast includes Michael Jacques and William Grefe.
