La categoria "BEST TRAILER" apre le selezioni ufficiali del The Optical Theatre Festival 2017, la rassegna cinematografica internazionale dedicata all’horror, fantasy, bizzarro e grottesco che quest'anno giunge alla sua terza edizione.
I finalisti della categoria "Best Trailer" sono:
Svart Records: Vinyl for Pleasure (2017) by the very young Artturi Rostén, the director of The Defiler (2016).
Rostén also handled the screenplay while Tomi Pulkki and Jarkko Pietarinen handled the production of this Finnish trailer that seems to pay homage to the Italian giallo.

Swamp Killer - A Grindhouse Trailer (USA - 2017). Prodotto, scritto e diretto da Ramiro Hernandez, questo è il secondo e ultimo trailer finalista.
