The Official Selections for the category BEST ANIMATION:
Juliette (Belgium - 2016) directed by Lora D'Addazio. The film is thick with vulgar dialogue, erotic scenes and gory images.
The protagonist of the story is Juliette, a girl who goes on a road trip together with two friends (Audrey and Sarah). Amidst visions, desires, and fears, the three girls will have a disturbing experience.
The voices of the three female characters are by Sarah Lefèvere (Juliette), Eve Louisa Oppo (Sarah) and Sarah Messens (Audrey).
The music is by Nicolas Grombeer.

The Funhouse Waltz (New Zealand, USA - 2017). The film was made entirely by Carvin Knowles, an American composer (he has written music for many films including the music for "American Pie") who is making his directing and screenwriting debut with this very short film. Knowles was in charge of the production of the film for which he also created orchestral music.
Plot: In a dreary and dusty abandoned funhouse, the sins of a dark past tend to repeat themselves endlessly.
