È notizia di pochissime ore fa quella che riguarda l'aggiunta di un nuovo membro alla strepitosa giuria del The Optical Theatre Horror Film Festival. Si tratta di Frank Laloggia, regista americano noto per aver diretto nel 1988 il thriller-horror Scarlatti (Lady in White).
Attualmente, la giuria del Festival è dunque così composta: Frank Laloggia, Adam Gierasch, Stephen Biro, Daniel De La Vega, Antonio Tentori, Marco Werba, Jonathan Barkan, Ivan Zuccon, Leonardo Cruciano, Federico Frusciante e Salvatore Alongi.
Fra i giurati del Festival sono presenti i proprietari di due label dedicate al genere horror ovvero Salvatore Alongi della One Seven Movies and Stephen Biro, president of the Unearthed Films. Le due label saranno disponibili per un’eventuale distribuzione dei migliori film del Festival (link all'articolo).

La rassegna cinematografica internazionale che abbraccia l’horror ma anche il fantasy, il bizzarro e il grottesco, è organizzata da Domiziano Cristopharo (Fondatore, Direttore Artistico) e da Antony Coia (CEO, Presidente Dark Circle) e si terrà presso il cinema Detour di Roma nel mese di novembre.

The Festival is open to Feature Films, Short Films, Trailers, Trash Features and Trash Shorts.
