From September 26 to 28, 2014, it will be held in Rome at the Detour film club, The Optical Theatre. This is an international review of films (shorts and features) in genres that will also embrace the bizarre, the grotesque and fantasy. Organizing this highly anticipated event is Domiziano Cristopharo, the director of Red Krokodil and Doll Syndrome (to name just a couple of titles from his substantial filmography) along with the organizers of the Samain du Cinéma Fantastique whose The Optical Theatre Is an "extension."

There will be no shortage of international film and short film premieres, classics, Live Performances and exhibitions at the event, however, a final program is still awaited.
