The comedy/horror genre short film The Barber's Cut (UK - 2015) is Official Selection at the The Optical Theatre Festival 2016. The 11-minute, 40-second film is written and directed by Mark Brocking, who produced it with Caitlin Moore.
The film won several awards including Best Screenplay at Unreal Film Festival, Best Director at Horror in the Hills, Best Foreign Comedy Short at Fright Night Film Fest, Best Original Concept and Best Actress at MAC Festival.
Plot: A woman's head and a man's head awaken in a refrigerator. The two will attempt an escape from the secret laboratory of a psychopathic barber.
In the cast: Lewis Georgeson, Alisa Arnah and David Whitford.
Malcolm Hadley and Jesse Llande handled the photography.
