Earlier today, the teaser trailer of The Onania Club (USA - 2018), the psychological horror film that marks Tom Six's (The Human Centipede) return to directing. Described by the director himself as "one of the most vile and inhuman cinematic experiences of all time." The Onania Club is set in Hollywood and stars strong female characters. Currently, the plot has not yet been revealed.
The cast includes Jessica Morris, Darcy DeMoss, Deborah Twiss, Karen Strassman, Flo Lawrence, John T. Woods, Ad van Kempen, Steffani Brass, Aryè Rapini, Mindee de Lacey, Susan Chambers, Dan Jablons, Wendi De Barros, and Will Gressman.
The Onania Club is produced by Tom Six together with Ilona Six of Six Entertainment Company and is scheduled for distribution this fall.
The trailer shows a group of women of different ages practicing autoeroticism while watching footage of the attack on the Twin Towers. Recall that Tom Six himself revealed that. The Onania Club deals with human cowardice and addresses the theme of "Schadenfreude", a German term meaning "the pleasure caused by (someone else's) misfortune."
