Written by Hank Hoffman based on a story by Jonathan Yunger, The Offering is directed by Oliver Park (Vicious) and will arrive in Italian theaters on Feb. 23 distributed by Summit 360.
Described with a greenish face and snake-like hair, this demon of Jewish tradition is the dybbuq of a child thief, motivated by envy of mothers, as she is barren.
Plot: After the disappearance of a young Jewish girl, the son of a Chassidic funeral director returns home with his pregnant wife in hopes of reconciling with his father. However, the couple is unaware that just downstairs in the family morgue, an ancient evil is interested in the unborn child and is hiding in a mysterious corpse.
In the cast of The Offering include Nick Blood (Euphoria), Paul Kaye (The Iron Throne), Emily Wiseman (The Widow Winchester), Allan Corduner, Jonathan Yunger, Velizar Binev (Hitman - The Assassin) and Daniel Ben Zenou.
