The Italian trailer for The Nun (USA - 2018), the second spin-off of the hit horror saga The Conjuring. Directing this fifth installment of the franchise is Corin Hardy (The Hallow) while the screenplay was written by Gary Dauberman and James Wan.
The film will arrive in U.S. theaters on Sept. 7, 2018 with Warner Bros. Pictures. while in our country it will be released on Sept. 20, 2018 by Warner Bros. Italy with the title The Nun: The Calling of Evil.
Plot: A priest (Demian Bichir) and novice Irene (Taissa Farmiga) are sent by the Vatican to an abbey (Cârța Monastery) located in Romania to investigate the mysterious suicide of a cloistered nun. Together they will uncover the dark secret of the religious order and confront a malevolent force that takes the form of a demonic nun. The two will jeopardize not only their lives but also their faith and their souls as the abbey turns into a battleground between the living and the damned.
In the cast of The Nun: Demian Bichir, Taissa Farmiga (The Final Girls, American Horror Story), Bonnie Aarons (The Conjuring - The Enfield Case), Ingrid Bisu, Charlotte Hope and Jonas Bloquet. The nun from The Nun, the diabolical religious woman already seen in The Conjuring - The Enfield Case, is played by Bonnie Aarons.
James Wan and Peter Safran are the producers of the film.
The Nun is the second spin-off in the franchise after Annabelle (2017).
