The new poster for The Nun (USA - 2018), the second spin-off of the famous horror saga The Conjuring. Written by Gary Dauberman and James Wan, the film is directed by Corin Hardy (The Hallow) and stars Taissa Farmiga (The Final Girls, American Horror Story).
The Nun will debut in U.S. theaters on Sept. 7, 2018 with Warner Bros. Pictures. while it will debut in our country on Sept. 20, 2018 thanks to Warner Bros. Italy with the title The Nun: The Calling of Evil.
Un prete (Demian Bichir) incapace di gestire la propria fede e la novizia Irene (Taissa Farmiga) vengono inviati dal Vaticano in un’abbazia (Cârța Monastery) situata in Romania per indagare sul misterioso suicidio di una suora di clausura. Insieme scopriranno l’oscuro segreto dell’ordine religioso e si confronteranno con un'entità maligna che ha le sembianze di una terrificante suora. I due metteranno a repentaglio non solo le proprie vite ma anche la loro fede e le loro anime, mentre l’abbazia si trasformerà in un campo di battaglia tra i vivi e i dannati.
In the cast of The Nun: The Calling of Evil, in addition to Taissa Farmiga, are Demian Bichir, Charlotte Hope, Ingrid Bisu, Jonas Bloquet, Lili Bordán, Jonny Coyne, Sandra Teles, August Maturo, Mark Steger, Sandra Rosko, Simon Rhee, Emma Appleton, and Jamie Muscato. The nun of The Nun, the diabolical religious woman already seen in The Conjuring - The Enfield Case, is played by Bonnie Aarons.
James Wan and Peter Safran are the producers of the film.
The Nun is the second spin-off in the franchise after Annabelle (2017).
