In fact, a new Dolby Cinema poster of this new spin-off of the universe was revealed today. The Conjuring. Directed by Corin Hardy (The Hallow) on a screenplay by Gary Dauberman (It) and James Wan (the creator of the saga), The Nun is the spin-off of The Conjuring - The Enfield Case (2016) and focuses on the demon Valak who takes the form of a nun. This diabolical entity was already introduced in the first sequel to the The Conjuring - The Conjuring.
In The Nun - The Calling of Evil Taissa Farmiga is Sister Irene, the young nun who, at the request of the Vatican, reaches an abbey in Romania along with Father Burke Romania. Here the two must investigate the mysterious suicide of a cloistered nun. Together they will uncover the dark secret of the religious order and confront a terrifying nun (Bonnie Aarons). The abbey will turn into a battleground between the living and the damned.
