Focus Features has released, online, the new trailer for The Northman (USA, UK - 2022), the film about Vikings directed by Robert Eggers (The Witch, The Lighthouse) and coming to Italian theaters April 21 distributed by Universal Pictures.
An Italian poster of the film is also already available.

Set in 10th-century Iceland, the story of The Northman stars Alexander Skarsgård (Melancholia) as Amleth, a young Viking prince who intends to avenge his father who was murdered many years earlier when he was just a child.
The cast includes other celebrated actors including Willem Dafoe (Antichrist), Nicole Kidman (The Others), Anya Taylor-Joy (The VVitch) and Ethan Hawke (Sinister). They were joined by Claes Bang and Icelandic singer/songwriter/composer Bjork along with their daughter Ísadóra Bjarkardóttir Barney.
The script is by Robert Eggers and Icelandic writer/poet Sjón.
Mark Huffam, New Regency and Lars Knudsen (the producer of The VVitch, Midsommar, The Hereditary) instead appear in the production of the film.
