According to Collider, l'attore svedese Bill Skarsgård (“IT” di Andy Muschietti) ha abbandonato il set di The Northman, the new film by Robert Eggers (The VVitch, The Lighthouse).
Bill Skarsgård praises the director and, as the reason for his withdrawal, mentions Covid-related problems on the set while also vaguely mentioning the presence of his brother Alexander in the cast:
"It's been a scheduling nightmare during COVID. It is what it is. It's a big shame. Eggers is one of the great filmmakers out there and working with my brother... I don't want to talk about it, it's going to make me burst into tears”.
Robert Eggers also edited the screenplay for The Northman together with Icelandic poet and writer Sjón Sigurdsson. Lars Knudsen, the producer of Midsommar.
