IFC Midnight has released, online, two clips from The Night (2020), l'horror psicologico iraniano prodotto, scritto e diretto da Kourosh Ahari, il regista dei corti horror The Secret of 40 and In Passing.
According to the press kit, The Night "segue le orme di The Shining, attirando gli spettatori in un hotel che è inquietante e allo stesso tempo anche invitante, dove i fantasmi del passato sono onnipresenti".
Trama: dopo una serata passata fuori con gli amici, Babak (Shahab Hosseini) raggiunge l'inquietante Hotel Normandie insieme alla moglie Neda (Niousha Noor) e al loro bambino. Durante l'interminabile notte passata all'interno dell'albergo che fungerà da trappola, una forza malevola costringerà i due coniugi ad affrontare i loro segreti più nascosti.
