The official poster of The Nest, the horror film directed by Roberto De Feo, an Italian director who has made several short films (Ice Cream, Child K) and the drama/thriller feature film Ice Cream. Produced by Colorado Film in collaboration with Vision Distribution, The Nest will arrive in Italian theaters on August 14.
The protagonist of the story is Samuel (Justin Korovkin), a child stuck in a wheelchair and living with his mother Elena (Francesca Cavallin) in Villa dei Laghi, an isolated residence surrounded by woods. Protected by his mother's love but unhappy with the woman's constant prohibitions against him, Samuel is dissatisfied with his life. The arrival of teenager Denise (Ginevra Francesconi) will completely upset the family's balance, and, urged on by her, the young boy will begin to oppose the restrictions imposed by his mother and seek the truth about the world around him.
However, the woman will do anything to keep him tied to her.

The film's screenplay is the result of a collaboration between Lucio Besana and Margherita Ferri.
